How do and can I request a dvd to netflix?

Ok my child really wants to buy this Playhouse Disney DVD we saw at best buy however it’s way to expensive (.00 plus tax). So I told her that we could just rent it from netflix, but the dvd we are looking for isn’t there. Is there anyway that I could email or contact netflix and request a dvd title. O and I know netflix has a customer service hotline but i dont feel comfortable calling them over a dvd.

What happened to Playhouse Disney?

Since we adopted my almost 2 year old niece, we have a little morning ritual of getting up and watching Johnny and the Sprites, and throughout the day stopping to listen to Ooh and Aah and Emily Yeung. All of the sudden, I go and turn the tv on and there is no Johnny. JoJo’s circus, gone. No Ooh and Aah. And the fillers now are crappy REGULAR Disney advertisments for Zach and Cody and the stupid Wizard show. What little child watches those shows? What happened??? Playhouse Disney was the only thing I really let her watch. If I hadn’t lost all respect for Disney before with their regular day time and prime time programming, I have definately lost all respect for the Disney Channel now for taking away the one good thing about it.

Do you think that children's shows are too dumbed down?

I’m talking about shows that are on channels like Nick Jr and Playhouse Disney.
Let’s say specifically "Dora the Explorer", which is possibly the most dumbed down show I have seen (keep in mind I don’t particularly go out of my way to watch these shows).
Now I know it’s meant for 2-5 year olds but do you think that 2-5 year olds are that … I’m not sure how to say this nicely: stupid.
Personally, I have met 4 year olds that can hold up far more intelligent conversations than what is displayed in the show.
I agree with what you said about Dora the Explorer teaching spanish and numbers but then why do they mix that up with having to say "swiper no swiping!" to get rid of a thief. That’s usually where I get confused. Good point though.

Is Disney-MGM Studios a fun theme park?

My boyfriend and I are taking our first trip to Disney World in March. We are planning to go to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and the Studios. I’ve looked at the attractions at the parks, and the Studios just don’t seem to have all that much to do (or least not as much as the other parks). We don’t have any children travelling with us, so won’t be going to anything like Playhouse Disney. Will we have enough to do for one day?

What happened to JoJo's Circus on playhouse Disney?

My daughter is a huge JoJo’s circus fan. She is 11 months and she gets up everyday at 5am to watch the one show that comes on right when playhouse disney starts. I have noticed for the passed couple days that it hasnt been on. I had to go out and buy the dvds off of walmart.com Did it go off the air or something?? Anyone elses children watch the show??
