Does any one feel REALLY motivated since getting pregnant… or do you feel the opposite???

Since getting pregnant. I feel so motivated. I am constantly thinking about and discussing the future. All I ever talk about now is where we are going to take or child. When the best time would be to take him/her to the beach. When we should take him or her to disney land. I’ve been looking at pools and playhouses and swing sets…Starting graduation funds. Even though its going to be along time before our child is even able to use all those things. Its all I think about, what we can do for our child… and where we can take him or her. All I ever talk about now is the future. I am even talking about getting a better car, with more space and a better safety features. I don’t even know when we are going to do these things and some of these things are years away. But its always on my mind…

Did anyone else find themselves doing this (constantly planning for the future) do you think its strange???
I am currently 14 weeks 6 days with me and my hubbys first :)
Jennifer M. – I totally agree. I am totally focused on the pregnancy, and enjoying every moment… its all I think about. Between talking to our baby and educating myself on pregnancy, and planning (and dreaming :) about the future… I can’t think of much else :)

Which does your children prefer?

Which do you prefer?

Jaden alternated between all 3. He loved Clifford, Curious George, and Sesame Street off of PBS, he loved The Wiggles, Bear in the Big Blue House on Playhouse Disney, and he LOVED Dora and Diego on Nick Jr.
Rylee loves Yo Gabba Gabba. That’s about it. She doesn’t watch TV.

I just watch what they watch. I dont’ like any of it lol.

TV shows for little or big kids?

Posted on 13. Jan, 2011 by Toy Expert.

It used to be playhouse Disney for my two little boys ( 3 and soon 5) but when my sister, Trisha moved in ( Trish is 16) things changed. Before Trish could buy a TV for her room, Nick ( almost 5) feel in love with the older children stuff. Like Disney channel ( that’s so Raven, Hannah Montana etc.). Also stuff on Teenick and other things. I don’t see any bad content in these shows, but I would rather have my children stick to younger children things for now. Trish no longer watches these shows in my living room, but now Nick and Tyler do. And soon enough when my little baby Nigel grows up he’s going to get into it way too early. I just don’t know what to do…. I don’t really know what my question is but any help would be helpful lol

Hannah
Nick’s fav TV show list-

1. That’s so Raven
2. Drake and Josh
3. Hannah Montana

ALL I LOVE!!!! :)

So I told her that we could just rent it from netflix, but the dvd we are looking for isn’t there. Is there anyway that I could email or contact netflix and request a dvd title. O and I know netflix has a customer service hotline but i dont feel comfortable calling them over a dvd.

Leapfrog’s Zippity High Energy Learning System Demonstration

From the March 2009 issue of CTR…. “Dance pads in front of TV sets are nothing new. But one designed for preschoolers, with a baseball bat-sized joystick is, if nothing else, innovative. Coming this summer from Leapfrog, this battery (4 C) operated vinyl pad is designed to get kids hopping, marching and balancing along with three cartridge-based playhouse Disney characters from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, My Friends Tigger and Pooh, and Handy Manny. The games are designed to encourage lower body coordination, and interacting with the TV rather than just watching it. Signals are sent to a battery or AC adapter powered infrared receiver, similar to LeapFrog’s ClickStart system, only with better quality graphics and TV-like sound. Each game features two levels of play. Additional cartridges cost each and will be inspired from upcoming Disney films such as Cars and Pixie Hollow. Coming Summer 2009 from Leapfrog.com.
